Special Appeals

Poor, chocolate Jenny – third time’s a charm!

Hello, everyone! Today, we have an incredibly important and special appeal for sweet, chocolate-brindle Jenny. This appeal means a lot to us, because we fostered gorgeous Jenny last year and we adored her. However, sadly, she is now looking for her third forever home. Unfortunately, her previous homes have not worked out, through no real fault of her own, and so we are searching for this darling’s final forever home – where she can be loved as much as she deserves to be. Read on to learn more about this beautiful snoot and the type of home that she is looking for…

Lovely Jenny is a sweet, affectionate girl, who had oodles of love to give when she stayed with us. She adores a snuggle and really enjoys the company of humans. She warmed to us very quickly and is very excited to receive cuddles when we visit her at the kennels. She can also be very funny, as she has a goofy streak in her personality, which is utterly adorable! When she was with us, there was never a dull moment between her comfy roaching skills or her serious concentration when watching TV with us. She is house-trained and has a good appetite, and also sleeps well through the night.

On walkies, she walks very well. She does not pull on the lead, walks at a leisurely pace and enjoys the occasional sniff. She is also fine with other dog breeds and enjoys meeting them on walks, although she can be wary of some other greyhounds.

This sweet girl deserves the most loving home – one that is going to care and nurture her till she is old and grey. She has so much love to give and will make the most loyal companion. It is imperative that her next home is her final one, as this girl has had enough bouncing around, and it is so important to us that she will not be given up on if her owners’ circumstances were to change. Here are the requirements:

  • Jenny must be the only dog at home, as she was very wary of the greyhound she lived with in her last home (this was sadly the reason that she was returned)
  • She has lived with children in both of her last homes and they have all adored her! So, if you have children, that is fine but we would recommend 8+ years old
  • She can be left on her own, but we would prefer a home where she is not left for hours on end and has stimulation

For more information about this darling girl, please reach out to us through our Contact Page. Devastatingly, we are currently not able to refoster Jenny, and so she is currently living back at her kennels in Essex. However, forever homes further afield can be considered if it is the right match. Please share this lovely snoot’s appeal far and wide, so that we can hopefully find her much-needed home by Christmas. She deserves it more than anyone!

Until next time…

Love and snoot kisses,

Berry x

  1. I am so surprised that Jenny is not in her forever home yet. She is an absolutely smashing dog and will slot into family life so well. I hope she ends up in the perfect home for her as she really deserves it. I hope this blog continues to work the magic it does and Jenny finds her home. She will make a perfect companion.
