Adopting a Greyhound

Celebrations and Reflections!

Hello, everyone! As 2021 comes to an end, I wanted to write a short post to express my most sincere and deepest appreciation to all of you, for following, supporting and believing in our little blog. Having only started this blog just over a year ago, we have been blown away by the fantastic support that you have all given to the hounds, through reading and sharing their stories.

This year, with your amazing help, we have managed to aid the rehoming of… Bridie, Jenny, Suggs, Quinny, Ruby, Penny, Immy, King and Shadow!

Furthermore, we have been able to share the honest, beautiful stories of Zoe, Speedy, Maggie, Bailey, Ash, Pepper, Mikey, Cookie and Tammy, as well as stories of our fellow fosterers, and… of course… Niko’s story!

Finally, we have been able to share our top tips on rehoming rescue dogs and giving them their happily ever afters. Wow! What a year indeed.

Thank you to our incredibly valued readers in the UK, as well as our readers from all over the world, including… the USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, Ireland, China, Sweden, India, Italy, New Zealand, Belgium, France, Brazil, Spain, Japan, Netherlands, Portugal, Kenya, Austria, Israel, Finland, Qatar, UAE, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Pakistan, Russia, Poland, Greece, Ecuador, Phillipines, Thailand, Hong Kong, Turkey, Switzerland, South Korea, Croatia, Singapore, Mexico, Slovenia and Mauritius!

Perhaps it has not been quite the year we were all hoping for in some ways but, for these greyhounds and many more, it has been truly magical… May next year be just as snootiful as the last!

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Happy New Year to you all!

Love and snoot kisses,

From myself and Niko x
